Serpil Tuti-Sari, Apple Distinguished Educator, lives in Izmir. She is currently working at TED Izmir College as vice principal. Previously, she worked at Providence College (Providence, RI the USA), Bilkent Schools, Bilkent University, Intel Turkey, Enocta, Işıkkent Education Campus at variables teaching and leadership positions. She also worked as an Associate Consultant (e-learning) at Bilge-İş Project supported by the European Union and the Turkish Ministry of Labor. She is an ITGS examiner at the IB DP community. Serpil received her bachelor of science in Computer Education and Instructional Technology Teaching at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2002. She received her master of science in Computer Education and Instructional Technology at the same university in 2005. In 2007, she published 11 books by considering ICT skills in the world and student levels in Turkey. She has "Leaders of Learning Certificate" from Harvard University in 2014. She is the finalist of "Woman Leaders of Technology" as a "Successful Education Leader of the Year 2017", chosen by Microsoft&Kagider&Aydin Dogan Foundation. In 2019, she was chosen as one of the 19 Impactful Women in Turkey by Samsun Governor’s Office to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ataturk’s arrival at Samsun to start the War of Independence.
