Professor Dr. Mukaddes Erdem is a faculty member at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. He received his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees from Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Erdem made the transition to this department in 1997 during the establishment of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education Departments. He took part in the establishment process of the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education. He was a visiting professor at Morehead State University in 2009, in the Department of BÖTE at Ege University in 2018-19 academic year. Dr. Erdem is still working at H.Ü. He continues his academic and scientific studies in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education. Professor Dr. Erdem is interested in the design of online and face-to-face teaching processes, learning theories, dynamics of participation in online learning environments and learner managed online learning environments, the position the education and training systems should have in the information age, teachers' roles that need to change, redefining the limits of educational areas and making use of the opportunities of mobile learning, reinterpretation of the instructional processes shaped by adult gaze and mind, with the participation of child gaze and mind, etc. by focusing on their intellectual and philosophical dimensions; and she conducts scientific studies related to them.
