Zafer Demirkol


He started programming in 1985 at the age of 16. He wrote his first "hello world" program with a Sinclair computer connected to television. At the age of 18 he attended Quick Basic courses at Boğaziçi University. Yildiz Technical University Electrical Engineering, while studying, continued to write code. While in university, he developed a program that made 4 transactions with complex numbers, animation, and proposal preparation. After graduating from university, he worked in various companies. In 1999, he left the company he worked as General Manager and studied "English for Business Communication" at the University of New South Wales, Australia. In these years, he developed various applications by closely following the rapidly developing Web technologies. He increased his knowledge of Web software in working groups at the University in Australia. He met ASP (Active Server Pages) there. When he returned to Turkey, he published his first book ASP. The book broke sales records by making 14 prints in total, 5 of which were in the year of publication. Later, books belonging to ASP.NET technology were published. A total of 11 books have been published so far. He continued his professional career by working in many projects and software companies. He has been a columnist for "PC World", Byte and "Mobile Life" magazines. He has published dozens of articles on software. He was elected as Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional)for 3 terms. He taught and is still teaching object oriented programming, web programming, advanced web design, database programming and mobile programming at Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Education, Informatics Management Information System faculties during different terms at Yeditepe, Maltepe and Bahçeşehir Universities. He shares his 30 years of software experience through his books and articles and professional training with young software developers. He has organized and is still organizing dozens of training programs on various software technologies for private, public and government organizations. His professional training topics include: ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Mobile Hybrid Programming, HTML5, JQuery, CSS3, iOS swift, AngularJs.
